Ethics In Computer

It is legal to copy songs from a CD, provided it was purchased legally. A principal at a local high school, however, has learned that students have been copying popular tracks from purchased music Cd's to other Cd's using the schools computer and selling the Cd's for $1.00 each. As the dean of students, what action would you take against the students copying the Cd's? What action would you take against the students buying the illegal copies? Write a brief report.

First, I have to alter that there ain't nothing wrong in copying a LEGALLY purchased CD. Maybe you have to copy it to avoid buying another if you loose the original. But the apple of discord is in selling these duplicated copies. I Think That Is Absolutely wrong.
People go into music for the fame, but most people go into music for the money. These artists spend most of their time writing and organising songs to make money, and at the end the hope to RIP what they SOW. Duplicating and selling these Cd's is like reaping what you did not sow. By so doing you are causing loss to the artist and also to the producing company. And as a matter of fact, i think piracy is illegal, therefore, you are going against the law.
Nobody is forced to buy these Cd's, so if you happen to afford it, its advisable to keep it to yourself unless the law states otherwise.
Well as the dean of studies, i might go a long way as to expelling these law breakers and as for those buying the illegal copies, i think there punishment wont be as severe as the latter because most of them buy these Cd's without knowing they are pirated. I might end up giving them suspension from the school for sometime.

Computer Class So Far...!

So far I can say, So Good..! I now know how to assemble a dismantled computer..Isnt that Fabulous? I feel like a computer Guru. U Think i am?. Im enjoying the computer class and i hope to learn more, maybe learning how to make a robot..hahaha....(next generation)....lol

An Advice 2 A Friend..!

Hey Mike! i gat ur message...U wanna get a computer with such amount? ..Well its simple and its easy. ill help you with some piece of advise.
First i want you to know that its possible u can get variety of processors like the Intel and Amd. The major difference though happens to be their design.AMD processors get more done per clock cycle. For example, an AMD Athlon XP 1900+ has an internal clock speed of 1.60 gigahertz, but its performance is equal to that of an Intel processor running at 1.90 gigahertz.AMD processors are cheaper than Intel processors, but AMD processors have also had a history of heat problems.AMD processors have the advantage of being more efficient but Intel processors have the advantage of higher raw internal clock speeds and higher front side bus speeds. Mike, if i am to make the choice, i think ill go with the Intel.
If you choose to buy the Intel, there some things you really need to have in mind such as the: -Level 1 and Level 2 cache - The purpose of these two caches (small but fast memory chips) is to allow the processor to access data and instructions quickly without having to go to the system memory to get them. If the processor needs something and it can't be found in the L1 cache (accessed first) or the L2 cache (accessed second), it has to be retrieved from the system memory, which is slower than retrieving it from a cache. When shopping for a processor, keep in mind the speed and size of the caches.
You also have to consider the Width of the data bus - The width of the processor's data bus (width in bits) is important because it determines how much data can be put out per second (bandwidth), along with the speed of the bus. Modern 32-bit processors have a data bus width of 64 bits, and some people get confused by this; they say that the processor is 64 bits, when that refers to the data bus width, NOT the width of the processor's internal registers.
Mike, now that you know some key features of a better processor, i can still give you some advice on what to buy and where to buy it. At GS Technology LLC, You can get an Intel Pentiun43.4 GHz 3.4 Ghz CPU for just $185 and the MSI PM8M-V Socket 478 mAtX Motherboard Ms-&7014-010, VIA P4M800 Chipset. These Motherboard supports the Intel processor and it also has the same socket and its quite cheap, you can get it for $45. In terms of Ram, i advice you go for the Kingston Technology 512mb DDR. These matches with the Processor and motherboard, you can get it for about $40.
Mike, so far so good, i hope you heed to my advice. Thanks Mike, take care and beware of fraudsters, keep ur credit card pin safe ....!

Computers....Advantages and Disadvantages

A Computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions stored in its own memory, that can accept data, process the data according to specified rules, produce results, and store the results for the future use.

For a layman i can describe computer as an electronic device which processes data and gives out information used in making decision.

Almost everything on earth has a beginning and an ending, advantages and disadvantages. Computer is not left out.Below are some of the advantages and disadvantages of a computer.

Advantages:-

Computers are convenient:- With a personal computer, one could avoid the stress of looking for a place to use a computer. One can also enjoy the portability and compactibility of a laptop.

Saves time:- Computers process billions and trillions of operations in a single second. Due to its speed, one could get infoormation in less time.

Storage:- One could store documents, softwares et cetera in a computer.

Communication:- Through internet services people could communicate via emails and chatting.

Constitency:- These has to do with GIGO( Garbage in Garbage out), What you put in is what you get. Computer generates error-free results at all time, as long as u put in the right information.

Creates Job Opportunities:- Adepts in computer, get employment as a networker, web-designer et cetera

Disadvantages:-

Invasion of privacy:- People steal and hack passwords thereby going into others personal documents and other saved items.

Loss of Jobs:- The increase of technology leads to the decrease of human labour.

Impact on Enviroment:- Outdated and damaged computers seems to promote enviromental pollution. The owners of these computers most time find it difficult to dispose the computers so they leave it out in the open.

Cost of Maintenance:- A virus infected computers requires formatting of the hard drive to get rid of the virus. These leads to loss of information and it is also expensive.

Ist day in Chow's Computer Class( C.C.C)

On the tenth of April 2007, i attended my first computer class, my computer teacher happens to be Miss Chow. The class was intersesting, i learnt how to make these blog and also how to post these message...Thanks to Miss Chow's Computer Class!
